Blog
Welcome to 2023
Gosh this is one for the books!
If you’d told me at the beginning of 2022 that I would have started my own business and be designing a web site for that business there is no way I would have believed that.
I probably would have said “I’m not good enough at anything to start my own business.” All this just goes to show that everyone of us needs to work on quietening that voice of doubt that we all have at times.
January is always a good time to take stock and do a review of ourselves and our lives.
What Mindset are we in, are we fixed or are we open to growth? This can be a scary place to put ourselves in, what will we see about ourselves as wives, husbands, partners and parents? What will we need to take responsibility for?
Being open to growth, however, can be life changing, not just for you but for your family as a whole.
YOU GET TO CHOOSE WHAT’S IN YOUR MIND!
We all have the freedom to decide if we are going to Self Sabotage and make ourselves immobile to move forward or whether we are going to take responsibility for ourselves. Are we going to decide that today “I was GOOD ENOUGH.” and that we will put things and our mindset in place so that tomorrows good enough will be even better than yesterday’s good enough.
SELF REFLECTION QUESTIONS
Take 5 minutes (or longer if you wish) to reflect on the questions below. Be brave and honest with yourself, self reflection is for you and you alone.
PAST
What is one thing I could have done in 2022 with my life and/or my time but didn’t because I was scared, I felt unsure or I didn’t think I would do it perfectly?
What is one thing I could have done more more thought, more mindfully?
FUTURE
How can I change my self talk?
What can I do to change the way I think about myself?
